These guidelines explain the standards we expect from everyone participating in FASHIONbytes. By participating in the FASHIONbytes Community, you agree to follow these Guidelines alongside our Terms & Conditions and other relevant policies.

Treat every member with kindness and professionalism. We encourage healthy discussion, creative debate and constructive feedback. The following behaviour is not accepted:

  • Bullying

  • Threatening behaviour

  • Hate speech

CELEBRATE DIVERSITY

Fashion is a global industry. We welcome members of all backgrounds, cultures, identities and levels of experience. Discrimination based on protected characteristics or any form of targeted abuse will not be tolerated.

BE AUTHENTIC

Create an account that represents you or your organisation honestly. Please do not:

  • Impersonate another person.

  • Use fake identities.

  • Misrepresent your qualifications.

  • Mislead other members.

  • Purchase followers or engagement through the Platform.

RESPECT CREATIVE WORK

Creativity deserves protection. Only upload or share work that:

  • You created.

  • You own.

  • You have permission to use.

Always credit photographers, designers, artists, stylists, models and collaborators where appropriate. Do not upload or share content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Please ensure that anything you share is relevant, respectful and appropriate for a professional audience.

PROHIBITED CONTENT

The following content is not permitted within FASHIONbytes:

  • Illegal content

  • Hate speech

  • Terrorist or extremist content

  • Harassment or bullying

  • Sexually explicit content

  • Graphic violence

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Counterfeit products

  • Copyright infringement

  • Malware or malicious software

  • Spam

  • Misleading information intended to deceive users

  • Content that promotes unlawful activity

SPAM AND SELF-PROMOTION

We understand that members want to promote their work, and responsible self-promotion is welcome. Please do not:

  • Send unsolicited promotional messages.

  • Repeatedly post the same content.

  • Use automated posting tools without permission.

  • Flood discussions with advertisements.

  • Mislead users for commercial gain.

We encourage meaningful contributions and responsible promotion.

MESSAGING OTHER MEMBERS

Please use messaging respectfully. Do not:

  • Send abusive messages.

  • Send repeated unwanted messages.

  • Harass members.

  • Attempt scams or fraud.

  • Request confidential personal information.

  • Use messaging for unsolicited marketing.

Please respect another member’s decision if they choose not to respond.

EVENTS

When attending FASHIONbytes events, online or in person, members are expected to:

  • Treat speakers respectfully.

  • Respect venue rules.

  • Behave professionally.

  • Avoid disruptive behaviour.

  • Follow reasonable instructions from event organisers.

Members who fail to meet these expectations may be asked to leave an event without a refund where permitted by law.

REPORTING CONCERNS

If you believe that content or behaviour breaches these Guidelines, please report it through the Platform or contact FASHIONbytes directly. Reports will be reviewed fairly and confidentially where possible. FASHIONbytes may request additional information to help investigate a concern.

ENFORCEMENT

Where these Community Guidelines are breached, FASHIONbytes may take action including:

  • Removing content.

  • Issuing a warning.

  • Restricting account features.

  • Suspending an account.

  • Permanently removing an account.

  • Reporting unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities where required.

The action taken will depend on the seriousness and frequency of the breach.
